I have always been thankful that squirrels do not realize that they can drop down off trees onto our heads and cause us to run in sheer terror right off a cliff or into traffic .... etcetcetc.
I guess my contraction threw you off. The "where'd" was for "where did." In the "think like a squirrel" (from the video) I was thinking like a squirrel and they are always looking for their nuts. Sorry for my poor writing!
No ty..... making a salad is enough excitement for me..... and having read about your experience with the kitchen tools... graters and peelers... a story which I laughed over but took to heart as well .... I think of it then when I am peeling my carrots and am careful only to get vegetable matter into my salad and not any of my own protein :-> love ya
This looks like me in college. Many a time, I'd be on my way to class, and I'd encounter a squirrel on the path. My fear would kick in--yes, of squirrels--and I'd have to turn around and flee back to the dorm.
Jocelyn, You seem to be a pretty fearless lass. Glad to know that you too have a few odd foibles and of course it does my ego good that it is about squirrels! :)
Janice, It's like finding nuts that are buried; totally guess work!
This magnificent video made its debut a few years ago here in the States as one of the most popular commercials aired during the annual SuperBowl telecast. Much was written about it, and how it was produced (apparently only one or two live squirrels, and a few robotic ones) were used. It is an outstanding (and funny) commercial and of course one of my favorites. To this day, people remember "The Running of the Squirrels" but for the life of them, cannot recall the name of the company it is trying to promote!! May we ALWAYS run with the squirrels!!!
I am a scientist who enjoy the arts; a socialist who wishes to be rich; a food enthusiast who wishes to be skinny and a human who loves squirrels. Just a nutter trying to make sense of the world.

I will never show fear, or lose respect of the squirrel.
I bow to your greatness. :) ha, ha. oops...not supposed to laugh at those greater than myself...I'll go find a hidey hole.

That is very funny! I have always been baffled about why anyone would participate in the version that involves bulls.
VioletSky,
Very, very wise! :)
cabcree,
I can't quite put my paw on it but somehow I feel that you are not sincere in bowing to squirrel greatness. Hmmm....
kat,
What a great idea for a movie along the lines of "The Birds". It could be called, "The Squirrels" or maybe "Night of the Killer Squirrels"! yay!
cz,
People should try running with the bulls before they try running with squirrels!
To beat the squirrel, you must think like a squirrel. Hmmm, where'd I put my nuts?
You do know what happens to the bulls of Pamploma after the run right?
geewits,
You may safely deposit all nuts in your possession into my Swiss Bank account.
Mark,
Are you raining on my parade? Thankfully beef appears in far more menus than squirrel.
;-P
Now THAT'S a sport I'll watch!
I am afraid very afraid now Didn't know this site of you
