Animals Speak of the Human Condition

on Tuesday, April 03, 2007

Okay, I have had a very bad day at work and really not inspired to do anything creative on this blog tonight (read "lazy", "unmotivated", "wanna go to sleep and wake up to a better day").

Nevertheless, I thought I would leave you with something I cobbled together from sources all over the internet. It made me smile a little; hope it make you smile. I entitled it, "Animals Speak of the Human Condition" cause animals pick up these bad habits and traits from us as we are the most advanced species on this planet.

CONFLICT
"We could all just back away from here or else it could get ugly."

PREJUDICE

Ah, the name calling: "Bitch" "Kiss-ass" "Wierdo" "Teacher's Pet"

PARANOIA

"Trust No one! Suspect Everyone."

INTOLERACE

"Stay calm and act like you belong".

ok, the sad part is that I had to look at the spy picture three times before I noticed one was a Pom. Clearly, I am not the fastest hamster on the wheel.

Sorry to hear you had a crummy day LGS! Its hard to find something inspiring to blog about when we aren't in the mood for it but you at least found some funnies. Love the pix, especially the fox one!

Gerbil, your comment made me laugh too!

tai,
So do I. Dare to be different!

dave,
welcome back.

janice,
Thanks. You can't really go wrong with funny animals.

josie,
The only creative thing here was the creative stealing of photos from around the internet. Foxy seems to be everyone's favorite.

csl,
Thanks. I thought you might like the dog, cat and mouse.

gerbil,
Funny comment. Don't feel bad about not being the fastest hamster on the wheel cause in reality, the smartest hamster really doesn't see the point of running round and round on the wheel at all.

etain,
Thought you might like that one.

becky,
Thanks.Looks like foxy wins.

That fox was great, so was the bird. Heck they were all great! Thanks for the chuckle, I hope your day get better!

I think it goes the other way around. While we may be the most advanced species on this planet, we have lost our way, and need to learn from the animals.

Seems like crummy days bring out another side of you. I enjoyed this post, love the animals, especially the spy one, but they are all peachy. :)

Sorry you had a bad day, but this is plenty fun. The raven as "goth" is very funny.

heiresschild,
"Just stay calm and act like you belong." Glad you liked it.

As for me, it's hard to stay glum when putting funny animal pictures together.

squirrel,
Notice there are no squirrel photos. I don't want to tip the rest off that we are actually planning world domination. :)

blackcrag,
You are absolutely right! We could indeed learn a lot from animals and I respect cultures that do that.

ellie,
I once had what was possibly the worst day of my life. It wasn't a single bad thing that happened but a series of almost 10 totally unrelated things that went wrong. Trying to get home that day, the bus broke down just short of the terminal and I had to run to the terminal to catch my next bus in torrential rain. When I got there, I found the next bus was cancelled and I had to wait for one hour, I ask God "What else could possibly go wrong?" Just then, a bird sheltering from the storm, pooped onto my head. I burst out laughing. I think God sent me a message and He had a sense of humor. I somehow felt better knowing if I asked that question again, He might just show me. Then I realise I should smile and keep quiet, it could always be worse. :)

jocelyn,
I thought the "tart" bird was even more appropriate. :))

Wonderful! I see that you are in good and splendid company with a host of fans.... and yet you still have thoughts of me, for me. No wonder that you attract people to yourself...you are special.

I have had many bad days but I hope they are more behind me now and I can look ahead to happy days and happiness to share.

LGS,

I just read your response to my comment. Too funny and I too think God does have a sense of humor! At least you really knew God was there, in all the "circumstances" of the day. :)

Cheryl,
I thank the animals for being cute. I thank you for the kind remarks.:)

Hey kat,
I always think about my friends:).
I'm sorry you've had so many bad days. Here's to looking forward to better days.

Ellie,
It really was the worst day. Yet it now helps me face bad days with a smile or at least without a frown. :)
