Thanks for Peeping in!
You might not find me here. I shall be travelling to attend a conference on protected areas. I shall be gone for a week of meetings and politicking. Wish me luck!
I am uncertain whether I will have time or even access to internet in the next 7 days. Hope to see you on the other side of the dark zone.
Best Wishes,
Lone Grey Squirrel
P.S. In the meantime, behave. No fighting.

LGS, You make sure those stewardesses, oops, I mean flight attendants keep you supplied with lots of peanuts.
Tell us all about it when you get back, and have a safe trip.
Josie
too cute
safe journey
That picture is adorable!
You take your bad self and do what you've gotta do. I hope plane travel is kind to squirrels, although you may have to make do with pretzels.
We'll miss you....
But the conference sounds fabulous. You'll tell us all about it, right??
Have a good trip LGS and do tell us all about it. Love the pic.
Have a good trip!
Lovely Pic!

Have a great trip. Hope the conference is informative & helpful to the areas of protection.
Blogland shall be quiet without you!
God grant you a safe trip and a good time learning new things on your week away. The squirrel is too cute, really!
Awww how cute!!! Have a great time and hurry back!!! We;ll miss you!!! I don't know if I can behave tho! hehe.
Peace
Question: When you travel by plane do they put you in a cage and then in with the cargo? Or what?
I love, absolutely love, the picture. It makes me feel like you are looking in on me, instead of vice versa.
Have a safe and enjoyable conference!
Lookin' right back at cha babe! :>
Hee hee hee

You have the best squirrel pictures. Look forward to hearing about the trip when you return.
Are you back home yet or commenting from "away"? Thanks for passing a Birthday greeting along to my mom.
In case you're wondering, I have access to the internet but there is so much work that i have no time to post. Even now, I should be working but decided to visit with you folks to recharge the mind.
josie,
There were no peanuts. Can you imagine? Waaaaaaah!
kat,
Thanks.
thethinker
Thanks also.
hearts,
No peanuts and no pretzels! Waaaaah! Don't worry about me though, i come from a line of flying squirrels.
Jess,
I'll spare you the boring parts and only speak of interesting parts, okay? Besides I was asleep through most of the boring parts anyway.
Janice,
Thanks and thanks. Check out my comments to Jess.
PoI,
Thanks! I am not back yet. I am posting from remote location.....stealing time on the internet late at night.
meggie,
Thanks. I refer you to my comments to Jess with regards to telling all about my trip. haha.
nancycle,
Thanks. I hope you have been cheering on the Senators for us. Sadly, I have dropped to position 50 on the ice hockey pool.
kat,
I do have my laptop but they work us like slaves. Please inform Amnesty International or any militant human rights group. Or in my case, would that be the SPCA?
becky,
Thanks for the sweet message.
ellie,
Thanks. You are spot on with your blessing.....exactly what I hope to do.
odat,
Thanks. Sorry about asking you to behave. That wasn't meant for you, of course. But still, no fighting, okay?
Molly,
yes, they put me in a cage and in cargo (cheapest way to fly). But once inthe air, there is no cage that can hold the Lone Grey Squirrel. After that, I hide out in the service bay, feasting on peanuts. You don't get to see the movies but their usually reruns anyway.
claudia,
You looking in on me looking in on you! Ooooo, too complicated for this little squirrel brain! Thanks for the good wishes.
proxima,
Look into my eyes. You are growing sleepy....you wish to give me peanuts.....roasted but not salted.
Jocelyn,
Thanks. Refer to my comment to Jess.
michael,
Thanks. I hope so too.
jay,
Apparently, where I am, "having fun" is not allowed. But then I don't always follow the rules!
squirrel,
Will do. Look forward to see how you will use the picture.
TC,
thanks and thanks.
cs,
thanks. On trip report, refer to my comments to Jess.
Have a good time, don't work too much.
We'll be waiting....
wanted to comment earlier this week...time out errors so I gave up.
You be save squirrel...see you when i get back...:)
Looking forward to when u come back!
Have as much fun as possible, under the circumstances!
Just a quick note to say "hi" and to ask you to check out my blog for a quick post to let you know that I am still around and reading your blog! Cheers! :-)
I've got your roasted unsalted peanuts, come and get them. ;>
And don't pay any mind to the wter bottle behind my back. hee, hee, hee

... good luck at the conference. If anyone says anything objectionable, my advice is to leap down at them from the lighting rigs and give 'em a nutcracking bite where it hurts. Squirrels are meant to be really good at that!
Great photo! Hope you enjoy the conference!
Well, folks, I'm back. Thanks for all your comments. Seems like I get the most comments when I don't post anything. Hmmmmm. But seriously thanks for all the warm messages and positive vibes.
Mago,
I did have a good time. Thanks. Tried not to work hard but it caught up with me.
Cheryl,
Thanks for waiting. We will serve you as soon as the next available operator is free. Your call is important to us. Please hold. (this comes to mind cause I recently endured that).
etain,
I'm back. Guess I now have to wait till you're back! Make it soon.
evalinn,
Thanks for visiting and leaving such a nice comment.
kimber,
your wish is my command.
dave,
good to hear from you.
proxima,
Look into my eyes...you are sleepy....the water bottle is bad....get rid of water bottle!
gledwood,
Thanks for your advice and confidence in my ability to kick butt. Sadly, I had to play the role of diplomatic squirrel. Would be nice to let off a few karate chops. Hiiyaa!
My backyard,
Thanks for the warm message.
Once again, thanks everyone.
That is the most precious picture yet. Great shot! Just stopping in to meet you after visiting TC's post today... I am looking foward to reading more of your stuff.
PS - my birds LOVE peanuts. My squirrels too.
