The Lone Grey Squirrel, he isn't here.
The tracks are old and the nuts untouched
He's not zipping around in high gear
Enquiries have so far not uncovered much

They search for him high
They search for him low
O how they search, how they try
To discover where did that rodent go.

The nut mines, he escaped this week
Taking an opportunity to break free
This LGS whom some readers may seek
Has gone to try the beaches of Bali.

Man alive, you manage to find the most fabulous places to see!! This one is great, as I've never seen anything like it. I guess it is a dream house, except for in the middle of a typhoon. Hope you are having a great time.

Oh, sob, sob, sob. I mean, How very nice for you. (And not me.)

I'm at war here, but most of me sincerely hopes that you are having a delightful vacation in that exquisite place (even though I'm not.)

jessica,
Thanks. I would love to also visit the grey and rainy shores of Nova Scotia one day.

Thanks, I did have a good though short vacation. The only nuts visible were coconuts and collecting coconuts can give a squirrel hernia.

janice,
I did make it back but there is also a desire to return there for longer.

tsduff,
The photo is of a temple called Tanah Lot. It is a favorite spot to see the sunset in Bali.

hearts,
Thanks for fighting through and wishing me well for my brief (4 day 3 nights) trip. I needed it. I hope you will have an opportunity for something similar soon.

geewits,
Thank you, dudette. :)

Mark,
Where I was, it wasn't the best place for a swim as there was lots of seaweed and the waves were really rough but it was a great place for tidal pools, starfish, sea urchins and sea slugs. Also great for water sports. I did take that swim anyway and enjoyed it.

margaret,
Thanks...that's so sweet.

jo,
If I come and fetch you, I might just end up spending my holiday in equally magical Vancouver and someone's famous tree house.

delirious,
I am blessed. Actually my wife was there because of her work and our accomodation was taken care of. Hence it was very affordable.

jocelyn,
I admit to being blessed. I realise that every day. It was incredibly restorative for such a short trip.
