It looks like the squirrel is solumnly swearing to something.... Probably swearing to eat every single one of our apples.....

Hey...! I recognize that face! That's the same little squirrel that terrorizes my terrace and "lets" me sit out there, as long as I keep feeding him.

Hmmmm.

Well, LGS isn't "mental", but I have squirrels in my back yard too, and they are nuts.
Driving me nuts too as they steal my beans.
And the jays are banging hell out of my sunflowers.

I thought it was we who were driving out the wildlife.

Little suckers are practically in bed with me.

Guys,
I was just doing so housekeeping when the local internet connection kept failing on me. This photo was only meant to be up for a few minutes while I juggle my profile photo. Next thing I knew, there were three comments!! LoL

Do squirrels pledge allegiance to the flag?

Molly,
sorry they don't on account that they are independent anarchists who would sell their grandmothers for a bag of nuts! Shifty characters.

Squirrel,
heh, Heh. *blushing*

What a cutie patootie! I'd much rather have squirrels in my yard than cats. I love watching them scurry along the top of my fence! But the cat! ugh! they creep and sneak around and do odorifious things in my garden!

leslie,
perhaps you can help me. Somewhere along my life journey, I picked up the phrase "Tough patootie". I noticed you use the word "patootie" as well. Any idea what its origin and actual meaning is?

meggie & mago,
Thank you. The photo was meant to be there only for a minute as I juggled my profile photo but due to Blogger connection problems, I couldn't remove it and then the comments started coming in. LoL
